You must fight the urge to discount this course based on the first few holes, which cross over rather bland terrain in front of the clubhouse. Crossing the road to the 7th there is a heightened sense of excitement that is fully realised upon the 11th tee. The golf that follows is breathtaking, peaking on the par-five 15th that plays over and around Clew Bay to a distant green. The finish is strong but a slow start hurts the ranking.Visit the Website
